MTI PCB Hardware and Firmware Design and Manufacturing specializes in the execution of custom electronics projects. Our experience is with taking customers through their end goals from any starting point, and we come prepared with all the engineering talent and production equipment needed for the endeavor.
When you engage with MTI, you will have access to engineers experienced in all custom PCB disciplines on an as-needed basis, industry-standard documentation practices and repositories, project plans curated by experienced project managers, accurate time-tracking, and advice so that you remain in control at all times.
Our custom firmware design department handles customer requirements (verbal, written, or brainstormed ideas), and documents these in a neat, templated software requirements document. Furthermore, the department defines validation criteria for each feature in the system. Lastly, once everything is known about the design, the engineers will get to code MVP application firmware, support the customer until the customer is able to replicate our same results in their own system, and then iterate until all the features are completed.
We embrace the whole process of creating a prototype, to a pilot production unit, and to a production unit. MTI’s firmware professionals regularly work with all the mainstream processor manufacturers and are familiar with all the IDEs and tool for efficient programming.
We are also staffed with hardware engineers that specialize in all areas of custom hardware development that can assist with troubleshooting at any time on an as-needed basis.
A typical deliverable consists of a project requirements document, software specifications document, software flowchart diagram, documented source code, hex files, programming and testing instructions, several prototypes, and more.
